Hello Orchard Members and Friends!
I bring greetings this week from our new friends at Cotuit Federated Church on Cape Cod. As you know, I was with them last Sunday offering a message of thanks for their generosity towards two things we hold dear at OCC: Orchard Youth Camperships and the development program in Muhudu. These two missions were their generosity project through Lent and Easter this year. It was such a blessing to be welcomed by them and greeted so warmly. I shared a message from the book of Esther: when Mordecai called out for help, Esther leaned in and listened and got in touch with her brave self and stood up to the King, was like when I called out for help to fund these ministries, they leaned in and listened and got in touch with their generous selves. It was a wonderful day and they hope to continue the partnership!
God is good. And God is providing. God can help us be both brave and generous!
I hope that you will plan to attend the spaghetti supper and talent show Sunday night at 5pm. Many have expressed to us that they would like to see the youth raising support. This is it! Come and celebrate all God is doing! Bring a friend!
