Did you know that we have a lot to thank God for this last year? He was faithful to and through us last year. Here are some highlights (in no particular order):
1. We baptized most of the Wilondja family and Dana Demand! Praise God.
2. We installed AC and quiet heating in the community hall at a final cost to the church of just $5000 dollars! Praise God.
3. We sent 17 kids to camp! Praise God.
4. Through the generosity of Covenant Living of Cromwell, CT and Cotuit Federated Church, we raised enough money to send those kids to camp and have a head start on fundraising for the year! Praise God.
5. We started a prayer ministry! Praise God.
6. We supported the Muhudu Orphans and have a healthy balance of funds to continue this support.
7. We brought into membership: Jane Jumba, Kennedy Juma, and Fred Hallo.
8. We had a great partnership with ECC Springfield for the GLOBAL 6K walk for water to support Covenant work being done in the Congo.
9. We had a great community gathering in our “African Party”
10. We had a great youth talent show and Spaghetti Dinner
11. We supported Intervarsity (College Kids), Young Life (High Schoolers), Christina’s house (homeless mothers with kids), Survival center (food cupboard), Rescue Mission (Homeless Ministry), Volands who are missionaries to Germany, Andrew Larsen who is a missionary working for peace in the Middle East, Covenant World Relief and Development (Global development programs), Covenant Kids Congo (development programs specific to the Congo), Pilgrim Pines (Covenant campgrounds), Seafarers (ministry to sailors across the world), and more!
12. Did you notice how long number 11 is? Praise God!
13. We met every Sunday to worship our Lord and learn to follow him more closely.
14. We cared for each other as a Christian Community
15. We served in our local communities
16. We modeled Christ-like Love
17. We proclaimed the gospel.
