April 10 Message From Rev. Tam

Dear Beloved Church Family,

As we prepare to enter Holy Week, I’m holding close the word Hosanna. I t’s the word the crowd shouted as Jesus rode into Jerusalem, a word that means both “save us” and “we praise you.” There’s something beautiful about that kind of word, one that holds both trust and yearning. Palm Sunday invites us into that same spirit. We begin the week waving branches, but we know the road ahead leads through pain and surrender before it reaches resurrection. This is the holy tension we are asked to carry, the beauty of faith before the stone rolls away. So many of us are waiting in our own ways, waiting for clarity, for healing, for peace. And yet, like those who lined the road, we still show up. We still sing. We still trust that God is moving, even in the in-between. As we come together this Sunday, I encourage you to enter the sanctuary gently, with reverence and openness. Let the stillness settle around you, making room for God’s presence to speak. May this week draw us closer to the cross, to each other, and to the One who still comes in peace.

With you on the road,
Rev. Tam
