Greetings!
We are excited for this Sunday. We have our church picnic but also, we will be baptizing many of Paul and Bertha’s family! Praise God. The organizational committee got a lot of great feedback two weeks ago. Look out for more information about that. Last Sunday, many of our ladies met to keep the conversation going around Women’s ministry and now have scheduled a prayer meeting for this Saturday morning (ask Alice for details). We are excited to see what God will do there! ALSO, we are starting to put together a Prayer Ministry. Evah, who has been attending for while (I hope you have met her!) is coordinating this prayer ministry. Pray that God will raise up a team around her. And stay tuned for more information on that.
I mention these things because in the summer, we can sometimes forget that God is not too hot to work during the summer (although I definitely am!). God is on the move in our church. I pray that you will feel his spirit working in the church and continue to partner with us. Time and Talents, as well as financially. And don’t neglect to gather with us! It may be warm, but God’s spirit bring refreshing (and Munch N’ Mingle is cool, thanks to God’s provision of AC).
